Welcome to the City of West Chester, OH! The City of West Chester has growth in recent years since it is located along Interstate 75 and is easy to commute to Cincinnati or Dayton. In 1791, Joseph McMaken moved into the West Chester area and applied for land. Many of the pioneers were farmers who were attracted to this area because of the beauty of the area and the quality of the land.
A new interchange was recently added to the West Chester area, Union Centre Boulevard, adding a new mall with upscale shopping and restaurants along with potential growth for commercial and industrial businesses.
West Chester is home to a number of growing arts-based groups, including the West Chester Symphony, which holds performances in the Keehner Park Amphitheatre and around the area. This wonderful community also has acting groups and childrenīs organizations.
West Chester is also adding many new parks facilities which are currently under construction or in the design phase in West Chester. These parks will create new opportunities for those who live and work here to gather for great events and programming as well as for quiet relaxation.
West Chester is located in the southeast corner of Butler County, Ohio, and have estimated population today of approximately 56,500.
